无锡协和与天一实验教育集团成立教研共同体
9月23日，天一实验教育集团总校长胡舜元带领集团相关校领导及学科教师来到无锡市协和双语学校，无锡市协和双语学校联合校长孟晓东及学校相关管理团队、学科教师热情接待。
当天，双方举行教研共同体成立暨首次研讨活动，并共同签署《教研共同体合作备忘录》，正式开启校际教研合作新篇章。
On 23 September, Hu Shunyuan, General Principal of Tianyi Experimental Education Group, led a delegation of school leaders and subject teachers on a visit to Wuxi United International School (WUIS). The delegation was warmly welcomed by Co-Principal Meng Xiaodong, together with members of the school leadership team and teaching staff.
During the visit, the two schools officially launched their Teaching and Research Community and held their first joint professional learning session. A Memorandum of Understanding on Teaching and Research Collaboration was also signed, marking the beginning of a new chapter in inter-school cooperation.

同向而行 共启新程
Moving Forward Together
会上，双方围绕教研共同体的建设目标、合作内容与运行机制进行了深入交流。无锡市协和双语学校副校长张馨元、天一实验副校长李琛分别介绍了教研共同体活动计划，就后续联合教研、课堂交流、教师研修等具体安排作了说明。
未来，两校将秉持“平等互信、优势互补、资源共享、协同发展”的原则，以课堂教学为核心，以教师专业发展为支撑，逐步建立常态化、可持续的校际教研合作机制。
“以课堂为基点，以教师为主体，以研究为纽带，以学生发展为共同指向。”这是双方共同的约定，也是教研共同体最重要的落点。
随后，双方代表共同签署《教研共同体合作备忘录》，教研共同体正式成立。
At the meeting, the two schools held in-depth discussions on the goals, areas of cooperation and working mechanisms of the Teaching and Research Community. Zhang Xinyuan, Vice Principal of Wuxi United International School, and Li Chen, Vice Principal of Tianyi Experimental School, respectively introduced the activity plans for the Teaching and Research Community and outlined the arrangements for future joint teaching and research, classroom exchange, and teacher professional development.
Going forward, the two schools will uphold the principles of mutual trust, complementary strengths, resource sharing and collaborative development. With classroom teaching at the core and teachers’ professional growth as a key foundation, they will work to establish a regular, sustainable model of inter-school teaching and research collaboration.
“Rooted in the classroom, centred on teachers, connected through research, and guided by student development.”
This is the shared commitment of both schools and the central purpose of the Teaching and Research Community.
Representatives from both schools then signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Teaching and Research Collaboration, officially marking the establishment of the Teaching and Research Community.

课堂共研 智慧共享
Learning from Classrooms, Sharing Professional Wisdom
真正的教研，最终都要回到课堂。
围绕课程标准、教材研究、单元教学、作业设计和考试评价，两校将开展专题研讨、集体备课等联合教研活动，并通过同课异构、公开课、课堂观摩与听评课等形式，让交流真正进入教学现场。
会上，两校学科组长也围绕各学科教学实际进行了交流与探讨，从教学进度、课堂实施到备考策略、教师培养等方面交换意见，为后续学科之间建立更具体、更常态的联系打下基础。
针对地理、历史、道法等学科，双方将加强骨干教师对青年教师的示范与指导，探索教师结对、联合备课、跟岗学习等方式，帮助青年教师积累教学与备考经验。
与此同时，两校还将围绕国家课程校本化实施、中考改革、课程建设等开展交流与研究。协和也将分享自身在英语教学、国际理解教育、项目化学习与跨学科课程等方面的实践，让不同的教育经验成为彼此可以借鉴的资源。
Meaningful teaching and research ultimately return to the classroom.
Focusing on curriculum standards, textbook study, unit planning, homework design and assessment, the two schools will carry out joint professional learning through thematic seminars, collaborative lesson planning and other forms of shared inquiry. Activities such as parallel lesson studies, open classes, classroom observations and peer feedback will also bring professional dialogue directly into everyday teaching practice.
During the meeting, subject leaders from both schools also exchanged views on the realities of teaching within their respective disciplines. Their discussions covered areas including teaching progress, classroom implementation, examination preparation and teacher development, laying the groundwork for closer and more regular subject-level collaboration in the future.
For subjects such as Geography, History, and Morality and Law, the two schools will further strengthen the role of experienced teachers in mentoring younger colleagues. They will explore approaches such as teacher partnerships, collaborative lesson planning and school-based observation to help early-career teachers build stronger experience in both classroom teaching and examination preparation.
The partnership will also extend to areas including the school-based implementation of the national curriculum, Zhongkao reform and curriculum development. WUIS will, in turn, share its experience in English language education, international-mindedness, project-based learning and interdisciplinary learning, allowing the different strengths and practices of both schools to become valuable resources for mutual learning.

交流中，天一实验教育集团总校长胡舜元对教研共同体的成立表示祝贺。
他谈到，面对新课标、新教材带来的变化，两校教师可以从教学理解、备课、上课、作业设计等具体环节入手，加强交流、取长补短，共同把新教材教好。同时，协和在国际化课程、学生多元发展以及中西融合教育等方面的实践，也为双方提供了不同的教育视角。
胡校长以一句“独行快，众行远”表达了对教研共同体的期待，希望通过持续合作，促进两校教师队伍建设与专业能力提升，让彼此走得更稳、更远。
During the meeting, Hu Shunyuan, General Principal of Tianyi Experimental Education Group, congratulated both schools on the establishment of the Teaching and Research Community.
He noted that, as schools respond to new curriculum standards and new textbooks, teachers can learn from one another through practical areas such as curriculum interpretation, lesson planning, classroom teaching and homework design, drawing on each other’s strengths to improve the implementation of the new curriculum.
He also recognised WUIS’s experience in international programmes, diverse student pathways and East–West educational integration, which brings a valuable additional perspective to the partnership.
Quoting the saying, “If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together,” Principal Hu expressed his hope that sustained collaboration would support the continued development of teachers in both schools and help both communities move forward with greater confidence and strength.
无锡协和双语学校联合校长孟晓东则以“以共研促共进，以差异求资源，以常态求长效”概括了对双方合作的期待。
他表示，协和当前实行“双轨并进”的课程发展路径，回应不同家庭和学生的发展选择。国内课程与国际教育在课程体系、学习方式和评价方式上的差异，本身也是值得彼此借鉴的教育资源。
对于初中双语部，学校将继续坚持“有协和特色的中考班”定位：扎实落实国家课程，明确国内升学路径，同时保留英语、国际理解教育、项目化学习与跨学科探究等特色，让“基础扎实，兼具国际视野”真正落实在每天的课堂里。
Co-Principal Meng Xiaodong summarised WUIS’s expectations for the partnership in three phrases: progress through shared inquiry, resources through difference, and long-term impact through continuity.
He explained that WUIS currently follows a dual-track curriculum model, providing different pathways in response to the diverse needs and aspirations of students and families. The differences between national and international education in curriculum structure, approaches to learning and assessment can themselves become valuable opportunities for mutual learning.
For the school’s Bilingual Middle School Programme, WUIS will continue to develop a distinctive pathway firmly aligned with the Chinese national curriculum and domestic progression routes, while retaining strengths in English, international-mindedness, project-based learning and interdisciplinary inquiry.
The goal is clear: to ensure that students build strong academic foundations while developing an international perspective, with both dimensions embedded in everyday classroom learning.
会议结束后，天一实验教育集团一行参观了无锡协和校园，两校相距不远，教育的交流也由此有了更多可能。
共研一堂课，共育一程路。
从今天的握手出发，期待两校在一次次真实的教学研究中彼此启发、相互借鉴，把更多优质教育资源带进课堂，带给学生。
After the meeting, the delegation from Tianyi Experimental Education Group toured the WUIS campus. With the two schools located not far from one another, this partnership opens up even more possibilities for educational exchange and collaboration.
