SDSZ International Department was established in 2010 as its parent school began exploring reform in international education.
The school formed specialist teams to develop a new model of education and school operation across learning goals, faculty development, teacher and mentor systems, curriculum design and delivery, assessment, student guidance and services, student development platforms, independent and healthy growth, and management innovation.
Drawing on the century-long Chinese cultural heritage of its parent school, SDSZ International Department focuses on developing students' deep cultural foundations, strong subject knowledge, and innovative critical thinking. Through continued exploration, it seeks to prepare internationally oriented learners with distinctive Chinese characteristics.
