Located on the shores of Songshan Lake in Dongguan, Tsinglan School was founded in August 2017 through a partnership between Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University. Under the leadership of our Board Chairman, Mr. Wang Dianjun (former Principal of Tsinghua High School), and our Principal, Ms. Li Wenping (former Principal of the International Division of Tsinghua High School), the Tsinglan community has worked with unity and purpose. In 2027, Tsinglan School will celebrate its tenth anniversary. As a K-12 school, we currently serve over 2,100 students, supported by a faculty and staff of more than 440 (from nearly 20 countries and regions). We consistently maintain a student-teacher ratio of no less than 1:5. Our motto, "Try, and all is possible" reflects our mission: Tsinglan School empowers exceptional international talents rooted in Chinese Culture, with academic excellence, innovative spirit and outstanding expertise.

Academic Rigour
Grounded in the national curriculum and enriched by the best of international pedagogy, Tsinglan School offers both AP and A-Level programmes at the high school level, supported by a comprehensive university counselling system that helps students chart their own paths to success.
Bilingual School's curriculum is based on the Chinese national standards to ensure that students are prepared for the domestic Zhongkao. At the same time, we add the rich teaching and curriculum resources of international education.

In the new academic year, the school will launch the AI Plus Learning Centre,the Future Lab, and Lens Studio. Together with our existing Advanced Research Lab and Interdisciplinary CG Lab, these facilities set a new standard for technology-enhanced education in the Greater Bay Area.

Holistic Education
Arts, sports, and innovation are the three pillars of holistic education at Tsinglan. As we like to say, "No sports, no Tsinglan." We offer over 30 sports programmes, 12 of which are compulsory, thereby ensuring that every student develops at least one athletic specialism.
Tsinglan students have won numerous national and world championship titles and awards across tennis, cheerleading, sailing, fencing, golf, drama, music, art, martial arts, and more.
In the arts, our four flagship academies—the Academy of Fine Arts, the Tennis Academy, the Fencing Academy, and the Symphony Orchestra—provide students with professional training and performance opportunities. We also offer robust drama programmes, a Piano Centre, a Percussion Centre, and a Choir, all designed to unlock each student's creative potential and confidence in self-expression.

Our Boarding Centre provides a warm and nurturing home for students in Grades 6 through 12. Supported by a dual-mentor system and the companionship of peers, boarders enjoy a calm, comfortable, and enriching living environment. Boarding life helps students develop independence, build lasting friendships, and grow into well-rounded individuals.
Tsinglan also offers merit-based scholarships for students with outstanding academic performance, exceptional talents, and strong personal potential. Scholarships are awarded without fixed quotas, encouraging excellence in all its forms.
