Suzhou Industrial Park Dehong High School (hereinafter "Suzhou Dehong") traces its roots to the A-Level International Programme at Jiangsu Suzhou High School, established in 2007. The school is adjacent to Jiangsu Suzhou High School's Industrial Park campus and Dulwich College Suzhou.

At Suzhou Dehong, the curriculum is conceived as an integrated design. The school offers students aged 14 to 19 challenging, rewarding, and academically rigorous IGCSE and A-Level programmes that build a strong foundation for undergraduate study in countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
The integrated curriculum combines in-house design with external assessment requirements, enabling students to master subject knowledge while developing specialist academic skills and language proficiency. Suzhou Dehong has designed an exclusive in-house curriculum around students' current and future needs and interests. In addition to complementing IGCSE and A-Level study, it develops learning and life skills essential for university and the workplace, including critical thinking, complex problem-solving, collaboration, and creativity.

Partnership Courses with U.S. Universities
Continuously Enriching the Curriculum
On November 22, 2022, Suzhou Dehong signed a formal partnership agreement with Marquette University to offer a dual-enrollment programme, the Marquette University Explorer Programme. This tailored suite of university-level courses allows Suzhou Dehong students to study university material while still in high school and earn university-recognized credits after successfully completing the coursework and assessments.
The first Marquette course was offered to Grade 11 humanities and social sciences students. From August 2023, the school planned to expand the programme into three key areas and extend participation to Grade 12 students.
In 2024, following the Marquette programme, Suzhou Dehong established a distinctive partnership with the University of Pittsburgh, a public research university in the United States, and introduced an international relations course for the first time. Through the University of Pittsburgh's College in High School programme, students can take courses carrying U.S. university credit. The courses are fully accredited by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP), and the credits are transferable to most universities in the United States.
