Since the initial release of the rankings in 2018, KingLead has consistently upheld independence and professionalism. Key clarifications are as follows:

Independent Operation

KingLead rankings and evaluations are independently conducted by KingLead Research, a technology and R&D unit based on big data This department does not assume any commercial functions. Business development are handled by the marketing department. The two operate independently, with no overlapping personnel or work. Ranking results are not influenced by any commercial relationships between KingLead and schools.

Evaluation Methodology

The KingLead Rankings and Ratings draw on a comprehensive evaluation process, which combines annual field research of hundreds of schools, publicly disclosed school operational data, publicly available accreditation information, and professional opinions from senior industry experts. Schools are listed based on their own strength. The indicator weights and rating system are publicly available online.

Transparency and Archiving

Every ranking is publicly released on KingLead's official platforms and other online channels, with full disclosure of the complete ranking lists (both Chinese and English), indicator weights, rating system, and data sources. KingLead Rankings are dynamically updated based on periodic (monthly/yearly) research data and comprehensive evaluations. All historical ranking results are publicly archived online and accessible. KingLead has never actively adjusted or deleted any school's historical ranking records due to a commercial relationship.

No Fees for Rankings

KingLead Ranking evaluations and results are free for all schools. KingLead does not charge any evaluation or listing fees, nor has it ever accepted any request or payment from a school conditional on specific ranking outcomes.
