Shanghai Experimental Foreign Language School

Shanghai Experimental Foreign Language School is home to one of Shanghai's earliest international high school programmes. It provides Chinese secondary school students with internationally recognized curricula, including IGCSE, A-Level, and Advanced Placement (AP), equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities required to pursue undergraduate study at leading universities worldwide. Upon its establishment in 2008, the school received authorization from Cambridge Assessment International Education to offer IGCSE and A-Level programmes. It also became an authorized examination centre, hosting several major international examinations each year. In 2010, the school was registered as an AP school with the College Board, making it the first international high school in Shanghai authorized to offer both A-Level and AP programmes. Since 2008, it has prepared more than 1,000 graduates for admission to nearly 100 renowned universities around the world.
