China World Academy Changshu

China World Academy Changshu (CWA) was founded in 2019 by the founding team of UWC Changshu China and is an official sister school of UWC. As a structured six-year IB World School, CWA is committed to cultivating future changemakers who are rooted in China, guided by humanistic values and scientific inquiry, and dedicated to exploring and addressing the challenges of sustainable human development. Guided by eight core values—respect, purpose, passion, excellence, resilience, independence, collaboration, and the integration of knowledge and action—the school provides Chinese students with high-quality international education that is grounded in the local context while embracing a global perspective. The CWA campus features approximately 100 standard classrooms, life sciences laboratories, artificial intelligence laboratories, a grand theatre, an indoor swimming pool, a gymnasium, a library, and other first-class learning spaces. Through Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS), project-based learning, and other educational approaches, the school broadens students' perspectives and develops their practical skills and overall competence.
