回望2016至2026十年独立办学历程，法拉古特升学实力实现了从初创探索、稳步扩容到顶尖全域领跑的跨越式迭代，育人成果逐年提质、层层突破。办学初期学校稳步扎根、快速成长，2016年以15名学子斩获39封海外录取的成绩，正式开启美、加双赛道的国际化升学布局；2017年升学版图进一步拓展至美、加、英、澳、中国香港五大国家及地区，收获83封Offer，升学赛道初步完善。

Time refines our heritage; the years forge our legacy. In 2026, Tianjin Farragut School will celebrate the tenth anniversary of its independent operation. Over the past decade of dedicated effort, the school has consistently upheld its founding mission of “cultivating international leaders and service-oriented professionals grounded in Chinese cultural heritage.” Building on its distinctive approach of integrating Chinese and international educational traditions, the school has centered its efforts on teaching and learning, focused on achieving strong university admission outcomes, emphasized personalized education, and driven growth through the cultivation of top-tier innovative talent. As a result, it has steadily grown into a premier source of high-caliber students for world-renowned universities.
As the high school entrance exam admissions season gets underway, we are conducting a comprehensive review of our educational achievements over the past decade across six core dimensions of school operations. Over the past decade of independent operation, Farragut has seen continuous growth in the scale of its university placements, the breadth of its reach, and the prestige of the institutions its students gain admission to. 100% of its graduates have been admitted to universities ranked among the global Top 100, consistently breaking Tianjin international school records for university placements year after year and firmly maintaining its position in the top tier of university placement performance in Tianjin. Looking back at the decade-long journey from 2016 to 2026, the school has achieved leapfrog growth—evolving from initial exploration and steady expansion to breaking through as a top-tier institution. Each year has brought new breakthroughs, with its university placement capabilities advancing step by step and consistently leading the pack.
Looking back on the decade of independent operation from 2016 to 2026, Farragut School has made a leap forward in its college admissions performance—evolving from initial exploration and steady expansion to becoming a top-tier leader across the board, with educational outcomes improving year by year and achieving breakthroughs at every level. In its early years, the school steadily established itself and grew rapidly. In 2016, with 15 students securing a total of 39 overseas admissions offers, the school officially launched its international college admissions strategy targeting both the U.S. and Canada. By 2017, its admissions reach had expanded further to five major countries and regions—the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, and Hong Kong, China—with 83 offers received, marking the initial consolidation of its admissions strategy.

2018 saw an explosive surge in college admissions results, with 46 students securing 217 offers from a significantly wider range of institutions, marking the formal establishment of the school’s international educational model; From 2019 to 2020, the school continued to refine its educational system and steadily build momentum, maintaining a stable record of over 100 high-quality admissions for multiple consecutive years. By focusing on mainstream international university admission pathways and continuously optimizing its teaching and application preparation systems, the school laid a solid foundation for future breakthroughs in gaining admission to top-tier institutions.

Starting in 2021, the school’s college admissions performance took a quantum leap forward, officially entering a phase of comprehensive, diversified leadership. In 2021, the school’s admissions reach expanded to nine countries and regions, covering 88 of the world’s top universities, with 349 offers secured in a single graduating class, marking the full realization of a mature, all-encompassing, multi-track admissions framework; In 2022, the school continued its strong leadership, with 73 students receiving 294 offers and the number of partner institutions exceeding 111. At the same time, the school achieved a historic breakthrough in its pursuit of Ivy League admissions, securing prestigious offers from Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania—marking the school’s official entry into the ranks of institutions capable of breaking through to the nation’s top universities.

Since 2023, the school’s college admissions performance has taken a comprehensive leap forward, repeatedly reaching new heights, with the prestige of top universities and the students’ overall competitiveness achieving a qualitative leap. In 2023, 87 graduates received a total of 438 offers, securing admissions to multiple Top 30 U.S. undergraduate institutions in large numbers; in 2024, the school achieved impressive results with top admissions to Ivy League schools such as Duke University and Cornell University; In 2025, the school once again set a new benchmark in Tianjin, with 77 students receiving 354 offers from prestigious universities and securing a total of 14.48 million yuan in scholarships. Every student was admitted to a U.S. undergraduate institution ranked in the top 41 by U.S. News & World Report, while the school also secured Tianjin’s only offer from the University of Oxford and gained admission to several top U.S. institutions, including Northwestern University and Rice University.

As we enter the 2026 admissions season, the school has once again reached new heights: 108 graduates have collectively received 386 offers from top universities worldwide, with total scholarship awards exceeding 19.22 million yuan. The school has achieved dual admissions to both Oxford and Cambridge, secured offers from all five of the UK’s G5 elite universities, and enjoyed a bountiful harvest of offers from top North American comprehensive universities and liberal arts colleges. Through a decade of steady progress and annual breakthroughs, the school has firmly established itself as the benchmark for international education and university admissions in Tianjin.

The teaching faculty is the cornerstone of the school’s high-quality education. Over a decade of independent operation, Farragut has assembled an elite teaching team characterized by a stable size, optimal structure, advanced academic qualifications, high professional standards, and exceptional competence. Currently, the school has a total of 103 faculty and staff members, including 56 teachers holding master’s degrees or higher. The faculty’s overall academic qualifications are solid and rigorous, with 60% of the team consisting of teachers who have returned from studying abroad. and 90% are full-time bilingual teachers. This has established a mature teaching team where Chinese and foreign teachers collaborate on teaching and research and provide tiered, targeted education, thereby building a standardized and professional international teaching and research system.

All of the school’s teachers hold master’s degrees or higher from prestigious overseas universities and have many years of experience teaching international curricula in North America and the Commonwealth. Many of them also serve as subject leaders, official curriculum examiners, and competition coaches, enabling them to accurately identify key concepts and challenges in the curriculum as well as the admission preferences of top universities. The school adheres to a student-centered approach, rejecting a one-size-fits-all teaching model, and continuously refines its pedagogical methods to better suit Chinese students.
