A Progressive Pathway Across Four Divisions
At Concordia, every stage of growth is thoughtfully supported, from a child's first steps to a young person's journey into the wider world. Across its four divisions, the school weaves academic inquiry, character development, and the exploration of interests into one coherent and caring pathway.
Early Childhood is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and grounded in the belief that every child is capable, curious, and creative. Play-based and inquiry-driven learning integrates literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, social-emotional learning, and the arts through rich, hands-on exploration. Each day includes intentionally designed experiences in art, music and movement, and Chinese. Beginning in the second semester of preschool, children can choose their own extracurricular activities and take their first steps toward developing their interests.
Elementary School is grounded in American educational standards, including the Common Core State Standards, Next Generation Science Standards, and the C3 Framework for Social Studies, providing a strong foundation in core academic skills. Students can choose from more than 50 extracurricular activities. The distinctive four-house system—Integrity, Respect, Unity, and Perseverance—brings students across grade levels together to practice shared values, build belonging, and develop character. From a strong foundation in literacy to daily engagement with Chinese, the elementary program lays broad and solid foundations for lifelong learning.
Middle School is a transitional stage when talents begin to emerge and individuality takes clearer shape. A balanced curriculum helps students manage both academic and personal growth, while experiential learning develops independence, responsibility, and leadership. Launched in 2022, the Applied Learning Exploration program brings mixed-age groups together across grade boundaries so that students can apply what they learn in varied settings and discover interests they may not previously have considered. Electives, music, and a rich selection of extracurricular activities create a network of choices through which each middle school student can gradually define their direction.
High School offers four years in which academic challenge and personal growth advance side by side. At Concordia, education extends far beyond the classroom. Through the arts, athletics, extracurricular activities, and service learning, the school creates a diverse and enriching network of opportunities for every student.
The arts are a core component of Concordia's academic program. Across music, theater, and visual arts, students engage in purposeful artistic inquiry, developing technical skills alongside critical thinking and reflection. The school has 25 ensembles and full-time string, band, and choral teachers. The David F. Rittmann Fine Arts Center includes a 300-seat theater and professional rehearsal spaces.

The 68 graduates in Concordia's Class of 2026 have received more than 210 offers from universities around the world and over USD 1 million in scholarships. The class also secured six offers from Ivy League institutions and universities ranked in the U.S. News Top 10.
In the United States, Concordia students received offers from U.S. News Top 30 institutions including Carnegie Mellon University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Emory University, Georgetown University, the University of California, Berkeley, the University of California, Los Angeles, and the University of Southern California. In the United Kingdom, offers came from Russell Group universities including University College London, the University of Edinburgh, and King's College London. In Canada, leading institutions including the University of Toronto, the University of British Columbia, and McGill University continued to admit Concordia students. In Hong Kong SAR, China, offers also came from the University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
The range and distinctiveness of the programs to which students were admitted are equally encouraging—from the NYU Stern School of Business and Claremont McKenna College to Berklee College of Music, Pratt Institute, and ArtCenter College of Design.
