Beijing Haidian Foreign Language School

Beijing Haidian Foreign Language School was founded in 1999 and has developed a comprehensive educational system spanning kindergarten through senior high school. It provides students aged 3 to 18 with personalized pathways for growth that integrate Chinese and international education, academics and athletics, arts and education, as well as science and technology. Since its establishment, the school has followed the mission of "engaging with the world and pursuing an international approach to education." The term "Foreign Language" reflects its international orientation, while "Experimental" in its Chinese name represents its openness and pioneering role in China's private basic education sector. The school has expanded rapidly over the years. From an initial enrolment of 119 students, it has grown to serve more than 5,000 students with a faculty and staff of over 1,000, making it one of the largest private schools in Beijing's basic education sector.
