Evaluation System
The KingLead 2026 China International Kindergartens City Index Model assigns scores on a gradient basis according to the highest rating each listed kindergarten achieves across KingLead's three major 2026 rankings — Brand Value, Innovative Competitiveness, and Competitiveness. The relative level of high-quality international kindergarten resources in each city is quantified by summing the city's total score and applying a benchmark conversion. All listed cities have at least one high-quality international kindergarten rated AAA or above.
1. Single Kindergarten Scoring Standard: Each international kindergarten is assigned a score based on its highest rating across the three KingLead rankings (AAAAA = 30 points, AAAA = 10 points, AAA = 5 points). If a kindergarten is listed on more than one ranking, only the highest rating is counted once, with no double counting.
2. City Initial Total Score: The scores of all listed kindergartens within the same city are summed.
3. Index Conversion: The highest initial total score among all cities is taken as the benchmark and set to 100 points. The index scores of the remaining cities are calculated using the following formula: City Index = (City Initial Total Score / Highest City Initial Total Score) × 100. The final city index results fall within the range of 0–100.
